Food and Administration Medicine approved Nexium (esomeprazole magnesium)
for short-term use at age 1-11 years for processing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The Agency approved Nexium in two forms, delayed-issue short and fluid form. Nexium is Approved in 10 milligrammes (mg.) or 20 mg. daily for 1-11 years in contrast with 20 mg. or 40 mg recommended for pediatric patient 12 at 17 years of the age.
